Street
or urban is very much an evolving culture, a culture in which we are
immersed every day with little conscious recognition. It is this idea of
our conscious perception of culture in its ‘traditional’ form being
invaded by that of the unconscious urban art worlds that I intend to
portray. Focusing on an aesthetic of such a culture combined or in
contrast to what might be considered a more traditional example of a
cityscape scene, I hope to represent or reveal the way in which such
movements, despite their relative infancy are advanced in their ability
to infiltrate society.
